Lepercot, Douglas-
Douglas Lepercot was a Jamsterdavanian publisher, businessman and journalist. Born on April 26, 1854 died November 2, 1915.

He and his brother R.V. Harvey Lepercot inherited the West Coast City Caller Times from their father, Samuel Lepercot, in 1868.

The two brothers fought for control of the paper and Douglas won out. The West Coast City Caller Times became the most successful west coast publication and joined with the Suntan City Spectacle in 1884 to form the West Coast Syndicate.

Douglas Died in 1915 and passed the reigns of the paper to Roberta Lepercot Martin, his niece.
