Founded in 1350, it was the original garrison of Sacia until it was mobilized in 1533 to reinforce the border area with Deutscheslavania. In 1542 the Legion was assigned the duty of guarding the Royal family. This duty elevated the Legion to an elite status and a career signpost for most officers desiring to obtain a position on the general staff.

The Legion of Sacia, in modern times, is mostly a home guard in charge of protecting monuments and guarding the Royal family. Although still prestigious, the unit’s position in the Dannunifian Army is equal to other legions.
