Fort Carmine-
A 19th century Jamsterdavanian Presidio constructed to protect settlers to the west coast of Jamsterdavania.

Built in 1817, Fort Carmine was situated on the Carmine Peninsula. It was an all brick walled fortress surrounded by numerous wooden structures that acted housing for soldiers at the fort.

West Coast City was founded in 1823 surrounding the fort.

The arrival of the Trans-Jamsterdavania railroad sparked a period of growth that lasted until 1858, when a huge fire decimated the city along with the fort.

The fort was rebuilt in 1860, at the height of the Jamsterdavanian Civil War. Fort Carmine was closed in 1922, but reopened in 1938 as Carmine Federal Republic Air Force Base
