After two years of servicing the developing plantations and farms in the Micaela Valley it was painfully obvious that the original building was failing to meet the needs of the line. It was decided that a secondary structure was needed to house agricultural goods going out and industrial farm goods going out the the plantations.
The secondary structure simply acted as a warehouse whose compartments were either rented to clients or used by the Railroad to house equipment.
As the railroad came to improve its locomotive fleet and rolling stock, other structures were added to the sidings at Norma, Texas.
The newer "Section B" warehouse section erected to meet the need of the growing railroad.
